Endodontic retreatment requires adequate removal of previous obturation material. Residual gutta-percha (GP) can be difficult to remove despite copious use of solvents, rotary files and hand files.  The gutta-percha removal instrument (TFRK-GPR) typically comes packaged with the The File Retrieval Kit but can be purchased separately for the clinician who wants to perform retreatments but does not need to remove separated instruments.
